I set up a surprise greeting for my wife and daughters. I wasn’t going to get a lei for myself because I didn’t want to wear flowers. I didn’t know this was an option, so it worked out for the better — I was able to get greeted with my family without wearing flower leis.

I liked the idea of a souvenir lei. I chose the lei for my son and the matching bracelet for my daughter in addition to our orchid leis. I still wanted fresh leis for our greeting, so these were just for souvenirs.
