This plant is found throughout Asia and the Pacific basin. Because it is sacred to Hawaiians, it’s incorporated in many cultural practices and ceremonies. Locals grow these plants around their houses for protection.

this had a masculine look which was good for me. my wife had another lei with flowers that was scented. both were in nice condition.

We actually kept our leis hanging in our hotel, we noticed this one was still in good shape! It changed colors, more brownish, but the shape stayed the same. I wish we brought it home with us!

My husband and son liked their greeting! Thank you for the warm welcome!

I like the spiritual aspect to this lei/plant. While on the island, I did notice a lot of the plants in people’s yards, used to serve our food, and in the skirts when women performed the hula. Felt good to know I wore this lei when I arrived.

My son is super sensitive to everything! I saw the other hypoallergenic option, but I wanted to give him a fresh lei and not a “seed” lei. I’m happy this is another hypoallergenic option that’s fresh.
